With my thoughts racing without much direction on a daily basis, I set out to create something that could help me calm my mind; a practice that would give me a reason to slow down and make deliberate decisions. I purchased my first sample-based drum machine earlier this month. When it arrived on April 16th, I found myself disinterested in making beats like it was intended, and instead slowed the tempo down to the slowest possible number, and filled the machine with long tonal samples. The result is this record.
